Round Rock Area Serving Center - $5,000

The Round Rock Area Serving Center is a nonprofit social services agency and food pantry that serves the Round Rock, Hutto, and Wells Branch areas. In addition to the food pantry and Round Rock Coats for Kids, financial assistance is also provided for rent, utilities, transportation, temporary lodging, and prescriptions. 

Capital IDEA - $9,500

Capital IDEA lifts working families out of poverty by sponsoring educational services that lead to life-long financial independence. It is their mission to connect committed yet underemployed participants to leading Central Texas employers in need of highly skilled employees.

Hope Alliance - $9,500

Hope Alliance is dedicated to empowering victims of family violence, sexual assault, and other violent crimes through support and advocacy, while promoting community awareness, compassion, and responsibility for creating a safer community.

Hands on Housing - $1575

Hands On Housing provides free home repair for low-income elderly or disabled homeowners. The program allows homeowners to stay in their home.

Lone Star Circle of Care - $15,000

Lone Star Circle of Care operates eight community health clinics for the uninsured and underinsured in Williamson County. They are the only full-time, nonprofit primary care provider for our medically underserved neighbors. In 2007, they provided more than 73,000 patient visits to 32,000 of the county's most vulnerable residents.

Crossing Project - $24,892

In commemoration of the infamous cattle drives along the Chisholm Trail a bronze artscape has been commissioned which is displayed at "The Crossing." This larger-than-life project is nestled within a park-like setting of native flowers and ground covering. The park is located adjacent to Chisholm Trail Drive to the west and between RR 620 and Brushy Creek.

Rockin' River Water Park - $36,055

The Rockin' River Water Park is located in Old Settler's Park and serves the residents of the greater Round Rock area as well as visiting tourists. Built by the City of Round Rock, the water park was made possible in part through a grant from HEB which was facilitated by the Foundation.
