Ashley Blake graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 with a Bachelor's in Journalism.  She moved to Round Rock in 1995 shortly after her employer, Dell, Inc., relocated its headquarters there.  Ashley helped create and manage the company's charitable foundation before moving over to the Corporate Public Affairs team in 1997.  She now helps manage Dell's community affairs activities in Central Texas.  Ashley is married to Cody Blake, a high school basketball and football coach, and they have three children:  Austin, Cameron and Reagan.  In addition to her involvement as a founding member of the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation Board, Ashley is a volunteer at Round Rock ISD's Fern Bluff Elementary School and her church, Central Baptist.  She is also a former member of the United Way of Greater Williamson County Board of Directors.

"I believe in the fundamental purpose of community foundations.  They are mechanisms for long-term social sustainability in a community.  Round Rock is a great place to live, work, and raise a family and I'd like it to stay that way.  The Greater Round Rock Community Foundation will create scholarship funds, support education initiatives, invest in important health and human service organizations and support the arts.  We will provide an avenue for families and individuals to donate and direct their charitable resources and provide a pipeline of givers that will benefit Round Rock in perpetuity."  Ashley Blake
